Ready to jump back in the water?

Starting this weekend, St. Paul Parks and Recreation will gradually reopen its Great River Water Park, an indoor pool and childrens area at the Oxford Community Center on Lexington Parkway, on a reservation-only basis.

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 3, the indoor pool will offer lap swim and water aerobics initially, and then open swim and swimming lessons at a later date.

Visitors will be expected to abide by new health guidelines, and reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. No, you cant use the water slides, drinking fountains, diving boards, sauna or shared pool equipment.

Guests will be required to wear cloth face coverings when not in the pool or on the deck, and maintain a six-foot distance from others not in their group at all times, including in locker rooms. Face coverings are not allowed in the water.

Reservations can be made by calling 651-642-0650 or online at stpaul.gov/greatriverwaterpark.
