A GROUP of fitness fanatics have choreographed and filmed their own music video to raise awareness about breast cancer.

The pool at Waterworx Aquatic Lifestyle Centre in Springfield became the location for the short video, which was made as part of the Medline Pink Glove Dance phenomenon to help raise money for breast cancer research.

Donning pink gloves, swimming caps, sunglasses, the group of 16 ladies and one gentleman glided around the water to Justice Crew's hit Que Sera, shaping their pink inflatable noodles into the breast cancer symbol.

Aqua aerobics instructor Terri Brownings said breast cancer was a disease that had affected many members of her weekly classes.

"I have people in the class who are survivors themselves," she said.

"So by making our own little video, it is our way of showing our support to them, their families and everyone else who has been touched by breast cancer."

This was the second time the group from Waterworx had made a video for the Medline Pink Glove Dance.

They made their debut to YouTube in 2012, with that video being viewed more than 3000 times.

Their latest movie will be uploaded to YouTube this week.
