Spiritual Breathing | Breath Energy Training

Posted: July 2, 2015 at 8:48 pm

by Dan Brul

In the beginning, we are told, was the word, but behind the word is an even greater power: the breath. Have you noticed that words are simply specific formations, shapes and movements of breath?

In the end days, it is said: all the secrets and mysteries will be revealed. Those end days must be approaching, because today, the breath itself seems to be revealing those secrets to us. It seems that the secret of life has been right under our nose all the time!

But it should come as no surprise, since almost every spiritual teacher throughout time has pointed to the breath in some way, and every contemporary healer makes use of the breath at some point.

Almost all the ancient languages use the same word for air, wind or breath, as they do for life, vital energy, or spirit; or the animating principle of life. This principle, this spirit of life, is called chi, ki, prana, or energy.

The Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism – A Study in …

Posted: at 8:48 pm

A constant intriguing factor in the imagery of the Great Buddha is the group of three curving conch-like lines on his neck. In the varied world of Buddhist art this is one common characteristic that shines across all aesthetic traditions. Like other Buddhist motifs, it too is soaked in rich spiritual symbolism. It is said to represent Buddha's deep and resonant voice, through which he introduced his followers to the path of dharma.

The association of the conch shell with Buddha's melodious voice, sweet with the tenor of his uplifting message, has both an archetypal simplicity and universal appeal. It is a hard-hitting symbol which associates a primordial object (deemed sacred in all ancient traditions) with the actual physical body of the Buddha. Indeed, though much of Buddhist philosophy is esoteric, when it comes to aesthetics, Buddhist art is justly famous for giving a physical, easily recognizable representation to abstract philosophical truths.

Buddhism has evolved over the centuries a complex, yet discernable scheme of symbolism which has found adequate expression in Buddhist art. Undoubtedly, the most popular of such symbols is the group of eight, known in Sanskrit as 'Ashtamangala,' ashta meaning eight and mangala meaning auspicious. Each of these symbols is also individually associated with the physical form of the Buddha.

These eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism (Tib. bkra shis rtags brgyad) are:

1). A Conch Shell

2). A Lotus

3). A Wheel

4). A Parasol (Umbrella)

5). An Endless Knot

6). A Pair of Golden Fishes

Spiritual Evolution – The Meaning of Life

Posted: at 4:46 pm

So here you are, a restless soul, still searching for the meaning of life, still searching for Loves fulfilment, still feeling alone, still hiding behind a mask, but I see you and what I see is more precious than you have dared to consider.

So here we are, brought together by Love and Truth, so that we may share in their gifts.

I will share freely the things that were given to me, and together we will fill that empty space within you.

I will tell you of things that no-one else in this world canor dare tell you, and you will know that I am a true teacher and healer of souls. I will give you back what was taken from you and make you your own master, for a loving soul seeks no power over others.

We all have only one judge and that is Love, from which all Truth comes.

It is not who you were or what you have done in the past that matters, rather it is who you are now and what you will become that is important.

You will never cease to exist, may your future be lived in peace and harmony, and with Love and Truth.

I will make all things new, and you will know that you are loved and on the true path to your Spiritual Evolution.

Love and peace,

William

The spiritual evolution of consciousness from quantum …

Posted: at 4:46 pm

On the basis of quantum physics theories is Michael Knig in his speech before the vivid models of elementary particles with which their physical and mental qualities describe. The electromagnetic interaction plays a special role. Elementary conscious processes, such as information storage, can be already at the level of certain elementary particles - the electrons and positrons - locate. In order to confirm the results of the biophysical basis of modern science, namely that coherent electromagnetic fields - Biophotons - control the biological metabolism. Michael Knig supports his theories with experimental results and also introduced new technological applications that are used to increase our vitality, which currently leads to the development of novel products in the areas of wellness, treatment and preventive medicine. The speaker completes his speech with a philosophical digression in which he points out the potential consequences of the presented models of explanation of quantum physics for the humanities, in particular, exert their impact on the consciousness research, psychology and theology.

The author discusses the lessons received that have changed his perspective on the roles of self, the interaction of self with positive and negative energies, and his relationship with others. Sonoma Ashram, an ashram in California for personal …

~ Aghoreshwar Bhagwan Ram (1937-1992), a realized saint from the tradition of Aghor.

In place of dramatic visions and other fleeting experiences that are easy to confuse with spiritual attainment, Aghor Yoga offers simple practices for authentic inner development under the personal guidance of an accomplished spiritual teacher (guru). The guru functions as a bridge toward contact with our innate spiritual wisdom, and thus ultimately with the wholeness and divinity that is our true human nature.

In Aghor Yoga the guru instructs the seeker in the basics of sadhana (cultivation of a daily personal practice) and seva (being of selfless service in the world).

By weaving the practices of sadhana and seva into the fabric of each day, the student achieves a sense of peace and fulfillment, and becomes better equipped to meet the challenges of modern life with calmness, grace and skill. The vibrations emanating from the student spontaneously touch others, contributing to greater harmony in families, communities, workplaces, cities, nations, and eventually the world.

Aghor Yoga can be practiced by anyone without regard to religious or ethnic background.

Swami Shantimurti Saraswati

There are few people around who have lived the life of a traditional yogi living in Himalayan caves with advanced yogis and traveling with sadhus. Many of us have read stories about Himalayan masters or seen glimpses during visits to India, but most have never experienced it. It is a hard life and only serious yogis are accepted into this inner circle. Shantimurti has lived that life. He has spent extended periods with highly accomplished yogis and seen many wonders.

Transhumanism – End Times Bible Prophecy

Posted: July 1, 2015 at 8:49 pm

As the world draws closer and closer to the day of Christ's return, the exponential pace of technological change will play an increasing role in the fulfillment of bible prophecy.

The development of technologies such as molecular manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing will trigger abrupt and radical changes in the global economic, social, and geopolitical landscape.

The acceleration and magnitude in development of these powerful technologies will dwarf the Industrial Revolution in size and scale.

Foreseeing such change, the world should note the various social philosophies and political movements which emerged during the Industrial Revolution. Darwinism, Marxism, Communism, Facism, and eugenics all emerged within a few short decades.

While the Industrial Revolution was not absolutely necessary for, nor was the it the cause of, the rise in popularity for each of these movements - it did serve to amplify their influence.

So what small movements might explode in popularity during the next technological revolution?

One possible candidate is the transhumanist movement...

The definition of transhumanism varies depending on who you consult, but here's Wikipedia's take:

"Transhumanism is an international intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of science and technology to improve human mental and physical characteristics and capacities. The movement regards aspects of the human condition, such as disability, suffering, disease, aging, and involuntary death as unnecessary and undesirable. Transhumanists look to biotechnologies and other emerging technologies for these purposes." (Wikipedia)

Alan Watts Lectures and Essays

Posted: at 8:48 pm

Today, serious heresy, and rather peculiarly in the United States, is a deviant state of consciousness. Not so much deviant opinions as having a kind of experience which is different from "regular" experience. And as Ronald Lang..has so well pointed out, we are taught what experiences are permissable in the same way we are taught what gestures, what manners, what behavior is permissable and socially acceptable. And therefore, if a person has so-called "strange" experiences, and endeavors to communicate these experiences, because naturally one talks about what one feels, and endeavors to communicate these experiences to other people, he is looked at in a very odd way and asked "are you feeling all right?" Because people feel distinctly uncomfortable when the realize they are in the presence of someone who is experiencing the world in a rather different way from themselves. They call in question as to whether this person is indeed human. They look like a human being but because the state of experience is so different you wonder whether they really are. And you get the kind of.. the same kind of queasy feeling inside as you would get if, for example, you were to encounter a very beautiful girl, very formally dressed, and you were introduced, and in order to shake hands she removed her glove and you found in your hand the claw of a large bird. That would be spooky, wouldn't it?

The Value of Psychotic Experience
