Health Net of California, Inc. and its subsidiary, Health Net Community Solutions, recently enrolled the one millionth member in their state-sponsored health plans (Medi-Cal and Healthy Families), cementing their combined role as the largest provider of state-sponsored health plans in California.

To address the health and wellness needs of its growing membership, Health Net has opened four Community Solutions Centers (CSCs). These centers offer a wide range of free fitness and health-related classes, activities and events in both English and Spanish to local families all year long. In addition, individuals can speak with bilingual Health Net representatives, enroll in Medi-Cal and Healthy Families programs, and get their questions answered about Health Net benefits.

There currently are four CSC locations in California: East Los Angeles, Fresno, Bakersfield and Modesto.

Health Net recently relocated its East Los Angeles CSC to a larger building to accommodate the increased number of visits and growing demand for programs and services. The “grand re-opening” of the center is today, February 16, 2012, and includes a community health fair with free dental screenings and other health and wellness activities.

Medi-Cal in 12 counties: Fresno*, Kern*, Kings*, Los Angeles, Madera*, Orange*, Riverside*, Sacramento, San Bernardino*, San Diego, Stanislaus and Tulare.
