Christy talks about her experience here at recoveryassociatespalmbeach.com Transcript; Hi I #39;m Christy. I #39;m from New Jersey. I decided to get sober 3 months ago I went to rehab. I #39;m a heroin addict. After 30 days in rehab i came to Florida and decided to come to RA. I was so nervous and scared and shy. I probably didn #39;t talk for the first 2 weeks i was here. Jeanna is my therapist she really helped me come out of my shell. She #39;s awesome. She #39;s the perfect person for me. I really like it here i go to mostly all the groups and gave them a try. I really like psychodrama it really gets me out of my bubble, out of my comfort zone, and helps me see things from a different perspective. I really like Thai Chi too because its a different movement therapy and i have never done anything like that before. I really the back to basics meeting on Friday its 2 and a half hours its really good we do a lot of things like expressive therapy like drawing and music therapy. I really like the people everyone can relate you think your different than everyone when you first come but everyone is the same. We are all working on the same things. Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches is located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
