The paper emphasised intellectual ability and in-depth understanding, especially in the multiple-choice section. Students who had thoroughly prepared found the questions manageable, while those who lacked preparation acknowledged the challenge, he says.

Some questions were a little tricky, such as the second section that included letters, unseen passages and narrative sequencing questions, but the rest of the paper was reasonably easy to attempt.

"The paper was moderate, balanced and average. The questions were mainly based on the CBSE guidelines. The questions were average. The paper pattern was similar to the official CBSE sample paper for this session. MCQs were mostly easy," says Shipra Das, TGT Sanskrit, Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad.

Students were able to finish their paper well on time and were satisfied with their performance, hoping to score well.

Many students expressed confidence in scoring higher marks, potentially even 100%. Notably, the paper reportedly ensured a high chance of passing for all students, Manas Kumar Samanta says.

The paper's overall difficulty was moderate, and it was well-balanced, with questions mainly based on the CBSE guidelines.
