Fashion designer opens Urban Zen boutique

Fashion designer Donna Karan, creator of the Donna Karan New York and DKNY clothing labels, has opened an Urban Zen pop-up boutique in Aspen.

The 2,500-square-foot store, which will be open through mid-April, is located at 501 E. Dean St. in the retail area of The Residences at The Little Nell and within walking distance of Aspen Mountains Silver Queen Gondola, according to a statement.

Aspen is dear to Karan, the statement said.

Ive spent endless holidays there with my family and have so many friends who live there, she said. My new Urban Zen store is my way of dressing and addressing a community thats given me so much love and enjoyment in the same way as my West Village and Sag Harbor stores.

Alongside womens and mens apparel and leather goods, jewelry, home decor and art, the store features an exclusive collection called Silver Snow, which focuses on white, gray and silver and features cashmere sweaters, sweatpants and leggings, as well as suede, shearling and down pieces.

Urban Zen is a philosophy of living by Karan, the statement said.

It is the calm in the chaos of life. A way of giving. An effortless dance of emotion, personality and lifestyle. Timeless. Seasonless. Endlessly expressive. A connection of mind, body and spirit. In the start of the movie we see good movie effects while the girls does her brilliant dance. Later we see various girls doing aerobics while great funk music is playing. The video is sometimes going quite fast with girls dancing, but do not worry, there is also slow dancing and slow paced music. The video is made so you will enjoy it even if you only like fast or slow dancing. Best of both worlds you may think.

Also the girls are really good looking and they do a fantastic job. I don't consider this a sex movie. Because its just naked girls doing aerobics. You can watch it when you want to, with no problems.

I would recommend this movie to all people in this world. I think guys will enjoy it better than girls. But i have showed some girls this movie and they just liked the music and the dance, some of them also did a dance because they wanted to do good aerobics like the girls in the movie. This was a great day for me.

I think you should show this movie for student parties and other life events. The dancing makes the girls go wild.

There was a huge cultural shift in the latter part of the seventies, where the hippy mentality was completely jettisoned in favor of a narcissistic and egocentric perspective. So, what you have is a perfect storm of Boomers with a slowing metabolism and a collective amnesia regarding their anti-materialist ideals. So, they traded in their paisleys and picket signs for a pair of pastel leotards... and that's where this post comes in.

A wonderful result of the fitness boom was the workout attire - specifically the ladies' aerobics outfits: typically a leotard accessorized with some leg warmers and a headband. I mean, what was the point of working out, if you couldn't look dynamite while doing it? This is the 1980's at its finest. Enjoy.
