Singaporean Chinese Martial Arts Instructor, Sifu Leroy Kwok talks about the wrongs methods of learning and practicing Hung Gar Kung Fu ( #27946; #25331;). This is to address the reasons behind the common injuries sustained from learning the wrong way. Hung Gar is famous for being a comprehensive style of Kung Fu from Southern China, as well as having beneficial effects on the practitioner #39;s health and fitness. However without close professional guidance from qualified teachers many have developed bad habits which not just make their skills unsuitable for combat, but also harm their own body while practicing. Hung Gar is hard, but within hardness there must be softness. Our human body is not made of metal, we need both phases of exertion and relaxation in order to recover and regulate our bodily functions.
