Katy Perry hasn't had the best luck with men.

The "Birthday" singer's marriage to Russell Brand ended after 14 months, and her on-and-off relationship with John Mayer fizzled earlier this year. Still, the pop star hasn't given up on love.

"I guess I happen to be attracted to high-frequency men," Perry jokes in Cosmopolitan's July issue.

What did the musician learn during her time as Mrs. Brand? "It feels like a hundred lifetimes ago, so it's like digging up an old grave. A lot of therapy has happened and a lot of understanding and growth," Perry reveals. "Sometimes you have to go through all this s--t to get your grips on life and figure out what the next boundaries in your love life are going to be. You have to go through the mud in order to find that peaceful place. In the long run, it was necessary for me to have more of a teammate."

Interviewer Chelsea Handler then asks Perry if she'll ever get back together with Mayer.

"I know it sounds really hippie-st, but I'm living in the now and not fantasizing about the future or [being] torn up about the past. I'm super Eckhart Tolle. I have a lot of respect for [John] still, and I know it goes both ways," she says. "There's no bad blood, but I'm sure there will be inspired songs."

Handler, who's written a book of essays about one-night-stands, then asks Perry the longest she's gone without sex. "Maybe six months or a year," the unattached singer replies. "I don't stay single for long."

Why is that? "I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male," she says. "Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst." Perry doesn't always make men wait to do the deed, either. "I'm not like Professor Higgins with my sex life," she says. "I'm not super strict. For ne, the most important thing about sex is connection." One-night-stands are no-go, however. "I've never been that way," she says.

The Dark Horse songstress was interviewed by Chelsea Handler for the story, which covered Perrys penchant for high-profile relationships including a failed marriage to Russell Brand and an on/off arrangement with John Mayer.

Ever wonder what Katy Perrys secret is to getting a guy? No, its not her looks, killer style or her voice: Its crystals.

Katy sat down with Chelsea Handler for the July issue of Cosmopolitan and she divulged to the E! talk show host the reason she has such a hard time staying single.

Not surprisingly, while chatting with Chelsea, the topic of sex came up. The comedian boldly asked how long the Roar singer has gone without sex.

Maybe six months or a year, Katy answered. I dont stay single for long.

The singer, who stays away from one-night-stands, also revealed that when shes in a relationship shes not super strict when it comes to her sex life.

Im not like Professor Higgins with my sex life. Im not super strict. For me, the most important thing about sex is connection, Katy added. If I could bottle up oxytocin - that chemical thats released when youre having sex and put it in a new perfume, I would do it for sure.

Perry wasnt off the hook when it came to talking about past boyfriends, though. She answered the question on a lot of KatyCats minds: Would she ever get back with John Mayer?

NARINGAL aerobics star Brenton Andreoli has claimed his first European championships title

Naringal aerobics star Brenton Andreoli with partner Katerina Smejkalova.

NARINGAL aerobics star Brenton Andreoli has claimed his first European championships title.

Andreoli, 20, combined with aerobics partner Katerina Smejkalova to win the FISAF mixed pairs category for the Czech Republic in Vienna, Austria.

The win is the latest in a string of achievements for the former Emmanuel College student, who is these days living in Prague.

He made history as the youngest FISAF world champion in history when he won the mens solo title as a 17-year-old in 2010.

Two more international gold medals came in 2013 when he claimed the mens solo and mixed pairs classes at Belgrade, Serbia.

Andreoli stayed in Europe to coach aerobics after the 2013 world championships but had planned to retire from elite-level competition. But his time in the Czech Republic has kept him fit and officials convinced him to team up with Smejkalova for the European championships.

Andreoli was unable to be contacted yesterday but his father John said his son was loving it over there.

Authorities are searching for a man who used a tire soaked in a flammable liquid to torch an aerobics fitness centerin Roma.

The fire happened last Friday at a business complex at the 2500 block of E. Grant Street near Highway 83.

The suspect was caught on surveillance carrying a tire onto the second floor of the building near the Aerobics Center then setting it on fire after pouring flammable liquid onto the tire.

Roma firefighters were able put out the blaze before it spread.

The fire caused damage to the wall of the building.

A motive is not clear but the case remains under investigation by Roma police.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Roma Police Department at (956) 849-2231.
