Wegmans Tuesday said it is following a recall and removing from sale 93 percent Lean Organic Food You Feel Good About Grass Fed Ground Beef after a recall from J&G Foods.

The recall indicated that the ground beef may contain small strips of translucent, flexible plastic. The recalled packages have a use or freeze by date of Jan. 16, 2015, and were sold between Dec. 27 and Jan. 13.
