The West Fargo Public Library remains closed to the public at this time.
Library leadership is working closely with fellow City of West Fargo departments to devise plans for library services. More information on any library services can be found at http://www.westfargolibrary.org.
Curbside pickup started May 11. The West Fargo Library now offers no-contact curbside material pickup. Patrons will be able to pick up held items including books, audiobooks, DVDs and music CDs.
The online Summer Reading Program launches June 1. The Summer Reading Program runs from June 1 to July 31. This program allows readers of all ages to participate.
Library staff are also available by appointment to assist patrons with job search or unemployment questions or those who need assistance filling out the 2020 census.
Other programs:
10:30 a.m., Mondays: Wiggle Worms Baby Storytime with Ms. Brittany
Wiggle Worms Baby Storytime is an activity for infants through two-year-old children and their parents. Each session features multiple book readings, songs, rhymes and a sensory activity. Each video is added to the WFPL YouTube page.
10:30 a.m., Wednesdays: Preschool Explorer Storytime with Ms. Brittany
Preschool Explorers Storytime targets children aged 3 5 and features multiple books, songs and activities. Each video is added to the WFPL YouTube page after airing.
11 a.m., Wednesdays: Childrens Craft with Ms. Brittany: Each Wednesday, following Preschool Explorers Storytime, Ms. Brittany will share a craft related to her storytime that children can do at home.
West Fargo Public Librarys Online Book Club is a program for adults aimed to keep readers engaged with other book lovers. Interested patrons can join the Facebook group. The group reads one book per month. Discussion questions are posted weekly. The May novel will be "The Sacrament" by Olaf Olafsson.
E-cards: E-cards allow those who do not have a library card to gain access to digital books and media, research databases, online learning opportunities and more.
For questions, email West Fargo Public Library staff at askus@westfargolibrary.org or via Facebook.
