Earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Kaplan University helped Kathy Getchel get where she is today—Director of Perioperative Services at Waterbury Hospital. In addition to her position there, Kathy also finds time to serve as an adjunct faculty member of the Kaplan University School of Nursing
