Why? Because they are going to have to work hard to succeed at it. Throughout his own career, Hesse has focused on continuing his education by moving to jobs in different parts of his company, and with university-level education. In his eyes, if you earn your education online at the same time you're holding down a job, you are obviously concerned with updating and expanding your skills. He encourages all Sprint Nextel employees to further their education.
