Posted: March 11, 2012 at 9:23 pm

11-03-2012 10:43 http://www.dieterpauwels.com Personal life coach discusses key principles from the bestselling book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. "Wherever you are, be there totally. If you find your here and now intolerable and it makes you unhappy, you have three options remove yourself from the situation, change it, or accept it totally. If you want to take responsibility for your life, you must choose one of those three options, and you must choose now. Then accept the consequences. No excuses. No negativity. No psychic pollution. Keep your inner space clear." - Eckhart Tolle Dieter Pauwels is a life strategy coach. You can find more information at http://www.dieterpauwels.com

Fighters Who Thrilled! The Ten Most Exciting (a personal appreciation)

Posted: at 9:23 pm

By James Slater: I think its time for another list! Following on from my top ten list of the 10 best fights held in Las Vegas, I have compiled my own personal choice of the ten fighters who have given us (in my opinion anyway) the most scintillating and action-packed fights in boxing during the time that I have existed on this planet.

Since I was born in 1971, there are many fighters that I had to give consideration to. Compiling such a list is never an easy job, though it is a somewhat fun and enjoyable task. Hopefully, each and every person who reads it will find it fun and enjoyable also. And please remember - just because a fighter is considered one of the most exciting, this does not necessarily mean he is one of the all-round best or most talented - last nights brave loser Juan Manuel Lopez for example.

But Juanma arguably the most consistently thrilling fighter around today (and a possible future addition to the following list) moves fans in a quite passion-filled manner. So did these guys:

1. Thomas The Hitman Hearns

Quite simply, hardly ever in a dull fight. Participated in THE greatest fight in middleweight history, if not in all of boxing, when he met Marvellous Marvin Hagler. Thrilled millions with his two fights against Sugar Ray Leonard. Hearns also scored one of the most electrifying KOs in boxing history when he annihilated Roberto Duran in two rounds in 1984. Throw in his intense and action-crammed bouts with Pipino Cuevas, Juan Roldan, Iran Barkley, Dennis Andries, James Schuler and Doug Dewitt, and its clear to see why he sits at the very top of this list. Tommy always took great pride in giving his fans a great show and almost always did so. Due to his incredible heart Tommy was still capable of giving us a thrill when his prime years had long gone. The Hitman reigns supreme in my opinion.

2. Muhammad Ali

It can be argued that the career of The Greatest provided its most incredible and heart pounding moments when it reached its later stages. Although he was undeniably at his absolute best in the 1960s, it was during the 70s that he really had the fans screaming themselves hoarse. Ali gave us the most gruelling and action-filled fight in heavyweight history when he met archrival Smokin Joe Frazier for the third time. And if some fans disagree with The Thrillas status as the greatest heavyweight fight it is only because they favour Alis first encounter with Frazier. Ali also shocked the world against George Foreman in Zaire in the second half of his career, as well as giving us fine fights against the likes of Floyd Patterson, George Chuvalo, Jerry Quarry, Bob Foster, Ken Norton and Earnie Shavers. In the final analysis, when Ali fought - the world stopped!

3. Mike Tyson

Although ultimately Mike Tyson may well be remembered more as a human disaster zone than as a prize fighter, back when he was focused and lived a (relatively) normal life Iron Mike was a very special fighter. And although many of his opponents were beaten before they entered the ring with him, Tyson performances almost always were met with fan approval. Ok, it could be argued that some of his fights produced such quick and easy looking blowouts that value for money was never always produced, but Mike could usually be relied upon to provide a spectacular KO for his audience. He was a fast and hard puncher, a combination which is a dead cert to lead to some brutally mowed down opposition. In his prime, the termination to a Tyson fight gave us many a highlight reel KO. Fighters such as Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks, Marvis Frazier, Pinklon Thomas and Tony Tubbs, to name only five, were dispatched in quite stunning fashion. How we could use a peak Mike Tyson these days!

4. Matthew Saad Muhammad

Breaking through the frustration of personal finance

Posted: at 9:22 pm

Frustration can lead to financial blunders. Here's how to calm down and make the best decisions for your financial future.

Personal finance can be really frustrating at times.

The Simple Dollar is a blog for those of us who need both cents and sense: people fighting debt and bad spending habits while building a financially secure future and still affording a latte or two. Our busy lives are crazy enough without having to compare five hundred mutual funds we just want simple ways to manage our finances and save a little money.

For starters, money success can take a long time to achieve. If youre in a big hole of debt, youre looking at years of digging just to get back to zero. People are often encouraged to start saving for retirement in their twenties, even though most wont actually retire until their seventies. The time frame for most personal finance moves is measured in years and decades, not weeks and months.

Another frustration is that every financial move you make costs you in some other regard. If you put away $50 a week for retirement, youre now bringing home less money, and that means less money to spend on the things you need and the things you want. Youre probably giving up something like a dinner out with your partner or something else youd like to have every single week in order to make that savings plan work.

Im often frustrated by both of these things.

Whenever I look at my account balances, I really want them to be higher. I have big goals in mind and although Im moving towards those goals, the progress is slow. The little devil on my shoulder will start agitating and whisper in my ear, Youll never make it to that goal. It will take forever.

Each month, when I look at how much went into savings for various goals, I cant help but get a twinge in my stomach thinking of some of the more immediately enjoyable things I could be doing with that money. Again, that little devil pops up and tells me that I could trim back on those savings plans just a bit and enjoy some things Ive wanted.

When I mix those two feelings together, frustration is the result. I feel like Im saving for something Ill never reach, and that saving is keeping me from making some choices in the here and now that Id like to make.

That moment of frustration is the point when Im most likely to make a big financial blunder. Ill listen to that devil on my shoulder a bit too much and before I know it Im ordering something online that I shouldnt be buying or planning some event that I shouldnt be planning.

Running halls leads to success on Tech's track

Posted: at 9:22 pm

FORT WAYNE Ask any principal or teacher, and theyll tell you one of the standard rules in any school is to not run in the halls.

Sometimes there are exceptions.

Our high school didnt have a track, Indiana Tech junior sprinter Adella King said, recalling her time at Detroit Finney. We ran in the hallways. It was wide enough for one person at a time. But we ran through the halls, up the stairs, back down, and through the halls again.

It was pretty frustrating. I got discouraged to the point where I stopped going to practices and kind of showed up at the meets and ran.

And her coach allowed her to do that?

Our program wasnt really a program, she said.

King has not only found a program at Tech, but Tech has found one of the top sprinters in the nation in King.

In the recent NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio, King finished second in the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 7.43 seconds, finished fourth in the 200 with a school-record time of 23.90, and ran on the 1,600 relay team that was second with a time of 3:41.32 third-fastest in NAIA history.

I had seen her run at a couple meets and worked with a family friend, Tech coach Doug Edgar said of King. He said, This girls going to be really good.

Shes been more than good. With 12 All-America awards to her credit, King with a year and a half left in her career is already one of the more decorated athletes in Tech history.

Personal Training Franchise Chain Fitness Revolution Now Offering International Licensing

Posted: at 9:22 pm

Fitness Revolution, the fastest growing personal training franchise in the world, is now offering International Licensing.

Elizabethtown, KY (PRWEB) March 10, 2012

Founded in December of 2010, Fitness Revolution began offering its first territories in January of 2011. By the end of the year, it had expanded to over 100 different franchises and had been registered in over 40 different states; including Illinois, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The personal training franchise chain is now expanding beyond opportunities within the United States. Quality personal training is something which knows no borders, said Fitness Revolution co-owner Pat Rigsby. Fitness Revolution is really becoming an international brand.

Fitness Revolution has positioned itself as a new model for personal training businesses that stands opposed to the traditionally inefficient health club and one on one training models prevalent in the United States.

Instead, Fitness Revolution provides clients with an international network of like-minded fitness entrepreneurs, Award winning coaching and support, an internal and external marketing program, and an operational system that supports organizational freedom.

The purpose of the international licensing currently underway by Fitness Revolution, said Nick Berry, Rigsbys partner and co-owner of Fitness Revolution, is to provide entrepreneurial personal trainers with a sustainable business system, without infringing upon their current brand.

Indeed, the new international licensing program gives licensees the option of maintaining their current brands while still receiving support, training, and marketing systems from Fitness Revolution.

Moreover, Fitness Revolution is ensuring new licensees exclusive rights to their specific territories. This means that no other Fitness Revolution franchises will be able to compete within the same market.

There is no doubt that obesity and lack of physical fitness are problems currently faced across the world, said Rigsby. Fitness Revolution wants to give enthusiastic fitness professionals the tools to make a difference in their communities, wherever they may be.

Wayne Dyer: Live Power of Intention Part 12 of 18 – Video

Posted: at 9:21 pm

04-03-2012 19:44 see: http://www.attractitude.com The Attractitude is about helping you improve the way you think and act; improve your attitude so that you can attract all the best in your life; without having to leave the comfort of your home. I have encountered many people that asked me the same type of questions and also faced the same kind of obstacles. The obstacles and objections I heard are 1- I want to go to a seminar but: - it is far - it is costly (trip + price of seminar) - I don't have the time (I can't leave my kids or my job) 2- I went to a seminar and - when I got back home, I went back to the same old, same old - it was easy when I am away from my everyday concerns but when I am back home, I go back to my usual self - having a coach for a week-end is not enough to improve my life in a long term 3- I don't go to seminars but I buy books - I never come around to reading them - It is easy for them but how do I implement those in MY life - I can't get the answers to my questions Do you feel somewhat the same? After many years, I realized that I cold make a difference in your lives by bringing the coaching to you. I know for a fact that you can change a thought, an attitude, a habit only by practicing over time and most of you need someone who will guide them through. I wanted to provide online training on the law of attraction so that: 1- You can learn and be guided in the comfort of your home 2- Have access to a mentor, teacher, guide for the period of your training 3- Change your ...
