Day 1 ~ My New 90 Day Challenge Timeline ~ Work Out Read from a Personal Development book DAILY!
Starting my new 90 Day Challenge with the goal of working out every day...doing something physical/active PLUS read at least 10 minutes of personal growth development. As an Entrepreneur, I have found growing through personal development has been one of the most profound attributes alongside the many wonderful people I have had the pleasure of building great relationships and friendships. When I was just an employee, I wasn #39;t encouraged to pursue avenues that would enhance who I was and who I would become. I hope through my personal 90 day challenge, one person begins on the path of their own personal growth and development. Even if it #39;s just ONE person. midwestjournalpress.com James Allen with As A Man Thinketh Predicted the Entire Field of Self Help Allen #39;s 1902 book, small as it was, has been reference and inspiration to a whole industry of self help and personal development books. I #39;ve found reference to him in Earl Nightingale #39;s "The Strangest Secret", as well as direct quotes in other books. For just a few thousand words - something which would barely pass muster as an ebook these days - he set the foundation for the "thought-creates.-reality" movement. If it weren #39;t for James Allen, "The Secret" movie probably would never have happened. On the other hand, the material he covers is mentioned in the oldest-known philosophy, Huna. And even though teaching that belief-system was forbidden by Western laws until the 1970 #39;s, I #39;m sure it would have broken through just as it did. "Everything happens for a reason" is what I #39;ve been told. And this is simply another version of serendipitous synchronicity, or "happy accidents" from circumstantial events. You #39;d take this further to the definition of luck - "opportunity met with preparation". This then brings up the point what your mind is much like a musical instrument, where you tune it to bring out the harmony possible - and that when played by one who has practiced hours, days, months, years on end, who then can bring out the melodies which "move men #39;s souls" and "calm the savage beast" with their power.
