Spiritual Singer to Perform in New Zealand for First Time
AUCKLAND, Wednesday 28th November 2012: OneWorld Global Events has announced Kirtana, the New Age Californian-based singer/songwriter who performs at Eckhart Tolle events, will be giving her first concert in New Zealand this weekend.
Kirtana is a long-time student of meditation and her music reflects her spiritual development and interest in personal transformation.
Megan Bardsley, spokesperson for OneWorld Global Events, says Kirtanas music is revealing, sacred and heart-opening.
Kirtana is captivating. Her voice carries you into an ever-deepening presence of stillness, she says.
Kirtana will perform new songs from her latest CD, which is due for release in December.
Weve had a great response to the announcement of her concert as she has a strong fan base in New Zealand. Kirtana also has a loyal international following and has enjoyed success performing at events with Eckhart Tolle, Geneen Roth, Ganeaji, at satsangs, and concerts world-wide, Bardsley says.
Kirtana says she is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her music and divine exploration in concert with Kiwis.

Sorry for the bad focus on the first half of the videos. However, you can get the idea of the exercise. This could be done on a aerobics step as on the video, sand bag or book/s if at home or dumbbell. The idea is explode off the floor if possible I performed these at the end of my triceps and chest day so my arms were pretty worked already. Same went for the suspended pushups. End of the day and wanted to flood my muscles. I squeezed my pecs at the top for a simulated fly. Keeping rigid also works the core similar to a plank. This is my first recorded solo on guitar. I #39;m a much more proficient rhythm player :p Apart from the sweeps it #39;s all largely improvised. I had a rough idea where to go with it. I #39;m playing over the Voyager song "The V Element" from the album ELEMENT V. It #39;s a pretty funny track in that it is so techno. Reminds me of that show Aerobics OZ Style for those in Australia that remember that show 😉 Playing an Ibanez prestige S series just through a Marshall Valvestate combo.
