2012 BikeSA 24 Hour Motorcycle Endurance – Video

2012 BikeSA 24 Hour Motorcycle Endurance
This isn #39;t my best piece of video yet, unfortunately a lot of things were not the same as last year, so I couldn #39;t really tell the story the same way I did back then. Instead I focused on getting some filming practice around the circuit for future reference. I also had too much footage and too little sleep, so I got impatient after a while. I #39;ve tried to get each and every team in this video, and I think I might have only missed one due to an early retirement. Congratulations to each and every single person who participated in this event, it was truly spectacular again. Well done BikeSA and Tannie Sue. Special thanks to Jaco at MSA for organising the media access on short notice, and again, Ron Louque for supplying me with magnificent works of art to use as a backdrop to the fuel induced roar of the motorcycles. From:Bertus RasViews:2 0ratingsTime:08:22More inScience Technology

This is an original song called always drawn, and it #39;s mostly a reflection on the inconsistencies that can sometimes occur in human nature. Our desire to do good but not at the expense of our personal success.From:theredapemusicprojecViews:0 0ratingsTime:02:56More inMusic

New College Banner Unveiling Ceremony | Faculty of Libereal Arts Professional Studies | YorkU
On November 26, 2012, New College held a Banner Raising Ceremony in York #39;s Senate Chamber to celebrate the official unveiling of the New College Banner and Logo. Founded on July 1, 2009, New College became the newest of nine colleges within the larger York community. Under the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, New College is comprised of the Schools of Administrative Studies, Human Resource Management and Information Technology. In the spring of 2012, in search of an image by which to represent itself, New College conducted a contest for students to submit their designs for the College Logo. U Kai Lai, an international student in his first semester of study, was the selected winner of the contest and received a prize of $500.00 for his design. In the speech he delivered at the ceremony, he spoke of his interest in making a contribution and the reward of becoming involved. "I really wanted to do something for my school as a student or even as a child of this great family. In the beginning, I thought I didn #39;t have the ability to design a creative logo, but I just tried my best hoping to create a great one. And I did it. This is going to be a logo that will stay as an important symbol which people will think of when they think of New College. " York University President Mamdouh Shourki spoke at the event as well as Martin Singer, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, and Christian Marjollet, the Master of New College. Les Mills COMBAT Combat 30 Kick Starter
My first experience with Combat 30 Kick Starter from the Les Mills COMBAT program. It #39;s a solid workout for only being 30 minutes. I was definitely feeling the power combination and all of the kicks towards the end of the workout. Engaging your core throughout the workout really takes the energy out of you when you near the end of the workout but I love it and am really looking forward to checking out more of what the program has to offer! National Citizen Service 2012 – Video

National Citizen Service 2012
This summer Sussex Central YMCA delivered a five week National Citizen Service (NCS) programme to a group of young people from local schools. The young people spent one week taking part in outdoor activities in Swanage and a week camping in Lancing. An important part of the NCS is doing something that would benefit the local community, so the young people had a chance to develop and deliver their own projects. National Citizen Service is a chance for young people to spend their summer investing in their personal development, making a difference to the community and above all, having fun.From:SussexCentralYMCAViews:0 0ratingsTime:05:35More inNonprofits Activism
