Today, we are going over Lesson 5 of the First Semester of the course. University Of Success Lesson 5 Og Mandino has chosen the author Louis Binstock and his book The Road To Successful Living for Lesson 5 in the University of Success. The title of this lesson is #39;How To Conquer The Ten Most Causes of Failure #39; and the quote is .... Very often we are our own worst enemy as we foolishly build stumbling blocks on the path that leads to success and happiness. The stumbling blocks of success are as follows 1. Blaming others ... 2. Blame oneself ... usually this is the self-talk that tears down your self-esteem. This is the "deer blinded by the bright light" effect, you are paralyzed from going on. 3. Having NO Goals ... you have to know where you want to go, if you expect to get there. It is like a ship at sea with no destination. 4. Choosing the wrong goals ... this is the person who wants to be a business owner, but chooses instead to just work in a company. 5. The short cut ... many chose the shortest, easiest, and quickest way to success, but the foundation does not lead to lasting results. 6. Taking the long road ... is when you have to do all the research on a company, get everything set up for your business, but end up missing the opportunity. 7.
