The benchmark has been set in the realm of small, thin MP3 players, especially when it comes to multi-gigabyte storage. As much as it pains Apple-haters to acknowledge, the iPod nano is one incredibly hot seller, much more popular than the countless other offerings on the market. Creative, however, isnt content with playing second fiddle. Theyre taking on the nano head-on with their new Zen Neeon 2.

To be available in the same capacities as the current iPod nano (no confirmation yet on the imminent release of the next-gen nano), the Zen Neeon 2 is about twice as thick as its competitor at 12.5mm, compared to the Steve Jobs 6.9mm. Theyve got some extra features to back up that girth, though. In addition to the usual music playing thing, the Zen Neeon 2 also does video, FM radio, and even voice recording through its built-in mic.

With a 1.5-inch color display, the Creative Zen Neeon 2 should come in five kooky colors. The 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB flavours will retail for $125, $170, and $195, respectively (making it between $25-50 cheaper than the iPod nano).

Since debuting in Saugandh in 1991, Akshay 'Khiladi' Kumar has done action, comedy, and drama films. And he has excelled in all those genres during various phases in his 24-year career. And without a doubt, he's also a great dancer. So, it's surprising when he lets on, "My dancing is more like aerobics. I do more aerobics than dancing. I wouldn't call myself a dancer. Shahid is a dancer."

He explains why no-one compares to the young actor. "I think Shahid is a better dancer than most actors, including me. He is a very good. He looks like has learnt dancing, and he knows what he is doing when he is dancing.

You can tell that his feet have rhythm and his body knows where it is going and what he is doing. And if you watch his films, you will find that the way he danced earlier is different from what he is doing now. It is not the same steps or dance form."

Actors rarely praise other actors, but AK's seriously impressed with Shaks. "When you see Shahid dancing, you can see that it looks like he is not doing stuff he is comfortable with, or that he must be used to doing. He pushes himself and lets choreographers lead him wherever they want to take him. He is a proper dancer who has learnt the art from a very young age and knows his stuff. As in, he can actually tell the difference between samba or salsa. Me? I am doing the same thing I was doing a decade ago."
