If you have a confused customer who has no idea about what to do with his life, it will be you responsibility to help this person realize what he wants. This makes it important to be able to articulately express yourself. You will need to make your clients understand your point clearly even if you are not speaking face-to-face. You can help people who need to find out what they really want to do for the rest of their life. For those who already know what to pursue, you can help them find ways to achieve their goals. Other sub-fields include aiding people with relationship problems or mentoring executives to improve their vocation. A common misconception is that professionals in this line of work must be licensed therapists. There are people who practice this career who come from different qualifications in business, education, and psychology.
