The initiatives of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution offer a context and container for connecting and empowering the vast global movement arising for positive change, making the efforts of this movement visible to engender greater coherence and synergy. We work on the premise that small islands of coherence in a sea of social chaos can jump the system as a whole to a higher degree of harmony and order.By connecting and communicating whats working, positive and innovative, the Foundation for Conscious Evolution is helping to build a new patha golden bridgeto the next stage of human evolution. On that path, we look beyond the current confusion and crises to see the new capacities that are arising. We hold our unprecedented power as the means for restoring the earth, freeing ourselves from illness, hunger and war, and fulfilling the deepest aspirations of the human heart. We envision humanity arising to cocreate a future equal to our vast potential. Our VisionThe ultimate goal of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution is the awakening of the spiritual, social, and scientific potential of humanity, in harmony with nature for the highest good of all life. Our Mission To educate people in the worldview of Conscious Evolution and how to apply it in their lives, personally and socially. To network, connect and align individuals and groups, making visible the vast movement for positive change that is arising everywhere, and to further cooperate toward our common goal of a compassionate, sustainable future.

Barbara Marx Hubbard (born Barbara Marx; December 22, 1929) [1] is a futurist, author and public speaker. She is credited with the concepts of The Synergy Engine[2] and the 'birthing' of humanity.[3]

A Jewish agnostic,[4] her father was toy maker Louis Marx. In her youth she attended the Dalton School in New York City. She studied at L'Ecole des Sciences Politiques at La Sorbonne in Paris during her junior year of college,[5] and received a B.A. cum laude in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College in 1951.[6]

As an author, speaker, and co-founder and president of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution, she posits that humanity now, as never before, is on the threshold of a quantum leap. If we are able to integrate newly emergent scientific, social, and spiritual capacities, we could transform ourselves to move beyond our current global crises to a magnificent future equal to our vast new potential.[citation needed]

She is the subject of a biography by author Neale Donald Walsch, The Mother of Invention: The Legacy of Barbara Marx Hubbard and the Future of "YOU."[7] Her name was placed in nomination for the vice-presidency of the United States on the Democratic ticket in 1984, and at which convention she gave a speech upon being nominated.[8]

The exhilaration I feel as the words unite with my sacred, illuminated essence are indescribable. I know the unfolding you describe intimately, as if my flesh is creating an electrified force field to hold all my particles together, lest they burst into a new universe.

The impulse is perhaps misguided because, in this instance, the I who anticipates annihilation in the process of this expansion is in fact the divine essence taking the stage for the encore of a lifetime.

You are such a deep blessing in my life! The transmission of your words activating me even more fully. - With loving appreciation, Dawn

The 52 codes is an amazing work that calls a person to their own highest aspects of self, guiding each through an ascending process of merging into oneness with the spiritual reality of the God Being that we are at the core of ourselves. I highly recommend this book and the process for any spiritual seeker that is on a journey to consciously knowing themselves in the heights of spiritual awareness. - Service In Love, Gary Goodhue

I am so grateful for the opportunity to study the 52 Codes and Conscious Evolution with Barbara. The whole body of work that she has brought together resonates so powerfully and profoundly for me. It has deepened all my other work and perspectives. - Henry Lepler

Working intimately with Barbara through the 52 Codes has brought a series of revelatory passages for both my mind and body. As a new human, my place in the world has expanded through an amplified attunement. The very scope of my being now encompasses the blossoming horizon of humanity. I am a human as evolution sees me, experiences me. Embodied realization is replacing old standards. Further, finer, clearer, an entirely new sense of truth is apparent. Through me, original life is being unleashed anew to discover its apex...I am evolution. - Sheila Cash

Barbara Marx Hubbard is one of the truly great visionaries of our time. Breathtaking in scope and stunning in insight, Barbara is providing a blueprint for the reconstruction of human reality so bold and yet so completely right, as to ignite the deepest sense within us that we can, and we must, join in this co-creation now. - Neale Donald Walsch

Barbara Marx Hubbard has become the voice for conscious evolution in our times. - Deepak Chopra

Barbara Marx Hubbard is one of Americas brightest lights. She makes this very complicated moment in history seem like a glorious opportunity. She gives guidance, and she gives hope. - Marianne Williamson

There is no doubt in my mind that Barbara Marx Hubbard who helped introduce the concept of futurism to society is the best informed human now alive regarding futurism and the foresights it has produced. Buckminster Fuller

Stay Inspired: Conscious Evolution with Barbara Marx …

For Barbara Marx Hubbard, the meaning of I am comes from the source of creation, and it is an impulse that for billions of years has been creating quarks, electron, protons, animals, and now humans. I am the universe in person, she adds, so the I am principle in every one of us is actually our unique experience of the creative impulse of the universe. In this far-seeing and hopeful interview with Lisa Garr, originally webcast on March 9, 2016, Barbara explains the importance of people who are already loving coming together to create a field of attraction and a vision of the future to overcome the negativity of old ways to generate a transformative evolutionary consciousness.

Barbara Marx Hubbard is a visionary and a social innovator. She thinks from an evolutionary perspective and believes that global change happens when we work collectively and selflessly for the greater good, and many would agree she is the global ambassador for conscious change. Deepak Chopra has called her the voice for conscious evolution. A prolific author and educator, she has written seven books on social and planetary evolution and she has produced, hosted and contributed to countless documentaries seen by millions of people around the world.

Who IS Barbara Marx Hubbard? Hmmmmm? – Club Conspiracy Forums

Bugger off troll. You couldn't even answer a simple question.

Barbara Marx Hubbard (born Barbara Marx in 1929) is a prolific New Age writer and public speaker.

She married the artist Earl Hubbard, whom she met while in Paris. As of 2003, she is the mother of five and grandmother of six.

Hubbard believes that humanity, having "come to possess the powers that we used to attribute to the gods", is presently in a critical and dangerous "Late Transition" to "the next stage of human evolution" which began in 1945 with the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. She promotes the idea of Conscious Evolution, defined as "evolution of evolution, from unconscious to conscious choice" or "an awakening of a 'memory' that resides in the synthesis of human knowing, from spiritual to social to scientific", as "the only solution" for avoiding global destruction and entering into a utopian "future of immeasurable possibilities."

While she frequently mentions technology as a major component of how humanity will "co-create" its future, she is clear that Conscious Evolution is "at the core a spiritually-motivated endeavor." Her broad and unattributed claims about the potential for technologies such as scalable quantum computing, clinical immortality, unlimited zero point energy, and an integrated space/Earth environment do not enjoy widespread scientific consensus.

The importance of population control is also a recurrent theme in Hubbard's work. In The Revelation: A Message of Hope for the New Millennium she writes:

[In 1966] I saw, perhaps most fundamentally of all, that the vast effort of humanity to "be fruitful and multiply" would have to be curtailed in our generation. One more doubling of the world population will destroy our life support system. Our Mother will not support us if we continue to grow in numbers! We must stop. She is widely regarded as the philosophical heir to Buckminster Fuller, who once described her as "the best informed human now alive regarding Futurism". She also names Abraham Maslow and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin as major influences.

Lessons from Neale Donald Walsch The Mother of Invention …

Posted: October 25, 2015 at 6:48 pm

by Gil Dekel, PhD. Part 1. Go to 2.

The ideas of futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard (born 1929) are expressed in Neale Donald Walschs book, following his extensive research into her life-long journals, as well as in-depth interviews he conducted with her (sold separately on DVD). Neale describes Barbaras visions of the wheel of co-creation, the synergy engine, the peace room, and the evolutionary story of humanity.

Neale states (page 22) that he doesnt have much time left, and will not waste it on writing just another good biography, unless it had something important to tell the readers. This biography of Barbara conveys her life wisdom and her futurist visions in a way that the readers can learn and apply in their own lives. As such, Neale does not see this book as a biography, but as a uniography (page 21). The story in the book begins in the future and ends with Barbaras birth.

Here is a short summary of main lessons from the book, with page numbers (for your reference):

Page V

We are all new in every single moment of now, as we change every split second. We invent the total reality as we invent ourselves individually, and so the most important question to ask is not do we change? but how we change? The question is not does humanity becoming something? but rather what does humanity becoming?

Page VI

This book appears to be a biography of Barbara Marx Hubbard. However, it is not about someone elses life but the life of the readers. It is a book in which to loose yourself, and also to find yourself

Page VII

We are ready as humanity to break through and evolve what Barbra calls a birthing.

Page 9

In her meditations Barbara would feel a vibrant field of light which she saw as an inner vision a presence and a feeling of a nonlocal essence that is totally present here and now.

Inner Vision of Light. Digital artwork by Gil Dekel, 2011.

Page 10

At one meditation Barbara felt her consciousness expanding beyond the limits of her own body into a new kind of the self. She wrote down her experiences in her journal.

Page 13

She asked the presence who he was, and got the reply: I am the guardian of the gate way, the passageway to the next evolution.

Page14

The inner voice said: The first reward of your writing is a union with me and the second will be keeping the sense of a universal person, unbound by the local self.

Page 16

Barbara was told that she would need now to be falling upwards in love.

Page 17

She paid attention to this inner voice; her inner partner who was on the other side. He told her to go into her minds eye and see into the future, the future in a human perspective. She was hen able to see the next step in the human evolution, and the tools we need to develop to reach it.

Page 26

Barbara envisioned The Synergy Engine (SE) as a place on the internet where people from all over the world would be able to post their best ideas, best insights and specific data that they have about projects or things that are already working well.

If there is a problem in one place on the planet, someone might have already found a solution on another place. Anyone with PC and Internet connection will be able to access this huge pool of solutions, and apply them.

The idea of the Synergy Engine allows for global collaboration and coherence where for the first time in history so many people can offer so many ideas, and post them online in a short period of time.

Page 27

We already have global communications but we do not have an organized global collaboration, which is communication with a clear intention and specific focus of producing coherency. The Synergy Engine will be a social function-based tool. It will not just bring together all of the worlds wonderful ideas and solutions but new reasons for applying those solutions social responsibility, where people have the tool to influence and advance humans evolution.

The Engine is based on the model of a wheel, the wheel of co-creation as Barbara calls it.

The postings that people will send will be organised in specific sections within that wheel, divided into areas such as: governance, education, technology, medicine, science, communication, culture, arts, spirituality and economics.

Model of Barbara Marx Hubbard s Wheel of Co-creation. Digital artwork and model concept by Gil Dekel, 2011.

Page 28

Barbara explains that the segmentations on the wheel are not meant to divide the wheel into specialised sections, but to illustrate the interconnection and intersections between them. As they merge, and ideas overlap, we bring them into a one whole; as Barbara calls it, whole system synergy.

Some ideas that will be shared on the wheel will be projects that are already working well on localized areas and not yet on global scale. The Synergy Engine will allow these solutions to be taken globally. The purpose is collaboration and global partnership, not just local solutions.

It seems that there are solutions for every existing problem on our planet. The only problem that still needs a solution is coming up with a tool to communicate and share solutions from one community to another. What we need is to create a link between those who have the solutions and those who still seek them. The Synergy Engine will provide and facilitate that link.

Page 32

Visions are limited only by the horizon of our sight. When our straight-line-thinking stops, then the vision can expand. Life is here to serve us. We are not here to serve life.

Page 33

We can come to know why we are and what we are meant to do only once we understand who we really are. If we think that we are simple beings or just biological incidences then we may imagine that we are here only to survive.

For the Synergy Engine to fully operate, we need to start by asking ourselves who we are and what our life purpose is.

Page 36

Barbara said, Like a baby just before birth we would destroy ourselves if we continue to grow in the womb.

Page 37-38

And in the same way, we have now reached the limit of growth in the womb of earth. Our planet is a finite system. We are running out of resources because now is our time to be born. It is time to evolve further. We face problems in the world, because we need now to birth ourselves further.

The problems that we are facing now are in effect evolutionary drivers the problems push us forward in a way. For example, the explosion of a deep sea oil ridge in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. This was a serious problem and yet there were positive developments that came out of it: this event has awakened governments and citizens to the real issue which is the need for clean energies. We have been discussing clean energies for years but have not taken enough action. Now, as we seen the horrible disaster, we are awakened to move forward into action. Problems can actually help us evolve.

Page 46

When you have a calling, you must speak them out, and tell them to other people. This is the only way to find your soul-mates, your teammates. It takes courage because you may be called a dreamer or even an eccentric. Douglas Engelbart, a Silicone Valley legend, said, Someone once called me just a dreamer. That offended me the just part. Being a dreamer is hard work. It really gets hard when you start believing your dreams.

Once the Synergy Engine will be online, it will make it easy for people to express their dreams.

Page 49

Involution, as Barbara calls it, is a process where the spirit is descended into matter, into life.

Page 54-55

Almost everyone had the feeling that they failed once in their life. This feeling is false, as anything we ever thought, said or did helped us move forward in our evolution. Anything that you have experienced in your life, each event, was a gift and is part of a sacred progress.

End of part 1. Go to part 2.

Help to promote Barbaras message:

11 Aug 2011. Last update 12 March 2012.
