"Whispering" by The Leisuretones (1970)
This is what happens when retirees in central nj in 1970 form a group for a variety show and decide to make a vanity record. I found this lp recently, and even though it #39;s different than most of my other offerings, i found it pretty endearing and decided to share. According to the liner notes, the Leisuretones were all residents of LeisureTowne NJ, a retirement village in Burlington. As you can hear there is something very off about the recordings. There are a few vocals, but most songs on the lp are instrumentals.
