Binance Bought A Whooping 41,000 BTC During The Dip: Did They Save The Bitcoin Market? – TradingView
Posted: July 14, 2024 at 2:39 am
Bitcoin is moving sideways at press time, absorbing the wave of selling over the last week. Even though there are some optimists, the candlestick arrangement in the daily chart points to weakness.
This preview, at least from a technical angle, remains as long as prices trend below the round number of $60,000 and the liquidation level at around $66,000.
Binance Bought The Bitcoin Dip
Amid the recovery, one analyst, pointing to interesting on-chain data, observed that when prices fell last week, some unnamed exchanges were loading up the dip. It is now emerging that Binance, the worlds largest exchange by client count, was actively accumulating.
CryptoQuant data shows that Binance increased its reserves by 41,000 BTC over the last bear run when prices corrected from $72,000. Buying on dips is strategic, considering the exchanges obligation, especially for users seeking to convert other tokens for BTC on the fly instantaneously.
During this time, Ki Young Ju also noted that permanent holders, entities who tend to HODL and not move coins, have been accumulating. These addresses, excluding spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) issuers, exchanges like Binance and Coinbase, or miners, added 85,000 BTC in the last month. During this time, spot Bitcoin ETF issuers decreased their holding by 16,000 BTC.www.tradingview.com/x/3udoSZwJ
While some entities were scrambling for the exits, others saw this as an opportunity to double down, loading on every retracement. Their involvement has helped stabilize prices, improving sentiment shredded after last weeks dump to as low as $53,500.
German Government Offloading More BTC
Even as the diamond hands buy the dip, the German government is not stopping; looking at Arkham Intelligence data. Today, on July 11, they moved another 3,250 BTC, on top of the 5,627 sent earlier, to multiple market makers and exchanges, including Bitstamp.
Their decision to sell is heaping more pressure on the coin, slowing down the uptrend. Even amid sustained outflows from the German government, a Coingecko survey shows that most respondents, especially investors, are upbeat.
Meanwhile, traders and speculators have mixed sentiments. While 39% of traders are upbeat, expecting prices to recover, another 33.5% of those surveyed are bearish. Most speculators, or 42.4% of those surveyed, are bearish, expecting prices to continue tanking.

Faustino Oro might break another record this weekend – Chess News | ChessBase
Posted: July 1, 2024 at 2:37 am
One grandmaster, two international masters and seven FIDE masters are competing in the Cerrado IM tournament in Barcelona, with an Elo average of 2320. To get an IM norm, 6 points from 9 games are required, and Faustino Oro has a good chance of achieving this score. With four wins and two draws, he has 5 points from 6 games with three rounds to go and only needs 1 points from the last three rounds to break the record of US Grandmaster Abhimanyu Mishra, who became the youngest ever International Master at the age of 10 years, 9 months and 20 days.
And if the young Argentine continues to play as confidently as he did in the first six rounds, he should win the title.
In the very first round, Oro had to play against the top seed and the only grandmaster in the field the 10-year-old came away with a surprisingly confident and composed victory against Hipolito Asis Gargatagli.
Master Class Vol.4: Jos Ral Capablanca
He was a child prodigy and he is surrounded by legends. In his best times he was considered to be unbeatable and by many he was reckoned to be the greatest chess talent of all time: Jose Raul Capablanca, born 1888 in Havana.
Oro also impressed in rounds 2 and 3 with his composed positional play.
In rounds 4 and 5, the young talent slowed down a bit and allowed himself two unspectacular and safe draws. But in round 6 he managed another convincing win: he had no problems finding a convincing concept against the rarely played Benoni Defence, and soon after the end of the opening phase, he won a pawn with a neat tactical trick and then exploited this advantage with incredible precision.
Two FMs and an IM await Faustino Oro in the last three rounds: FM Xavier Mompel (Elo 2279), FM Cesar Alcal (Elo 2274) and IM Fernando Valenzuela (Elo 2358). Whether Faustino Oro holds his nerve in the last three rounds and secures the title and record remains to be seen.
Two out of the three final rounds will take place on Saturday, while the ninth and deciding round will take place on Sunday at 10.00 local time.

14-Years Old Dormant Bitcoin Wallet Transfers 50 BTC to Binance – Coinspeaker

The Bitcoin ecosystem has seen more whale transfers in the last couple of months, raising concerns amongst crypto enthusiasts. The German government recently dumped400 Bitcoins on Kraken and Coinbase.
Bitcoin (BTC) wallets are beginning to come out of dormancy amidst a significant drop in the value of the flagship cryptocurrency. Crypto analytics platform Lookonchain spotted activities from a Bitcoin miners wallet that have been silent for the last 14 years. This wallet was active in the Satoshi Nakamoto era, which was the early days of Bitcoin.
A few hours ago, the said wallet transferred 50 BTC to the leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance. Noteworthy, Bitcoin is currently trading at $60,761.85 with a 1.06% slump in value within the last 24 hours. By this market price, the transferred assets were worth approximately $3.03 million.
The wallet owner secured 50 Bitcoins from his mining activity on July 14, 2010. This was even before the first Bitcoin halving event ever held. The Bitcoin miner mined block 67,254 and the block details include a difficulty of 45.38682234 and a transaction volume of 1,085.85 BTC across four transactions. At the time, BTCs mining reward was around 50 units of the coin.
It is worth noting that the firstborn digital currency was barely worth a cent at the time. Precisely, its price at the time was pegged at $0.05 per coin, bringing the total worth of the 50 BTC to only $2.5. Comparing $2.5 to $3.03 million, it is obvious that the 14 years of dormancy was worth the wait after all. It could even be tagged one of the most lucrative Bitcoin HODLing endeavors in all of Bitcoins history.
The movement of the coins suggests a potential selloff akin to all dormant wallet addresses that suddenly come alive. These wallets and their probable selloff activities might impact the broader crypto market.
The Bitcoin ecosystem has seen more whale transfers in the last couple of months, raising concerns amongst crypto enthusiasts. The German government recently dumped400 Bitcoins on Kraken and Coinbase.
These transfers were confirmed by data from blockchain analysis platform Arkham Intelligence. The 400 BTC, which was worth $24.4 million based on the cryptocurrencys price on Tuesday. Noteworthy, this transfer came after a previous transfer of 6,500 BTC worth $425 million on June 19 and another 2,500 BTC, about $154 million from a wallet with the name, German government.
Whale Alert also spotted an unknown wallet that transferred 3,746 BTC, about $243 million, fromBinance, while another unknown addresstransferred1,646 BTC, approximately $107 million, fromOKXto an unknown wallet.
According to Arkham Intelligence, several whale addresses were reactivated and transferred a total of $2 billion on-chain. Five wallets alone consolidated 50,000 BTC into four distinct wallet addresses.
Last month, a Bitcoin whale wallet that had stayed inactive for nine years resumed activity. From holding 1,000 Bitcoin at a value of $468,643, the wallet was worth $30.39 million, representing a 6,301.46% increase within almost nine years.

Top Stock Recommendations: Osho Krishan of Angel One suggests buying PFC and NHPC today | Mint – Mint
Posted: May 5, 2024 at 2:37 am
Stock Market News: The Indian stock market indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, traded higher on Thursday amid mixed global cues after the US Federal Reserve monetary policy announcement.
The BSE Sensex gained over 120 points to trade above 74,600 level, while the Nifty 50 was up 0.11% above 22,600 level. The gains in the market were broad based as the Nifty Midcap 100 and the Nifty Smallcap 100 indices also traded higher.
Among sectoral indices, Nifty Pharma, Nifty Auto, Nifty Financial Services, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Metals were in the green, while Nifty IT and Nifty Realty declined.

It has been a roller coaster session for the participants, as the whole rosy setup with across-the-board buying ended on a rough note on April 30.
However, considering the overbought parameters, the Bank Nifty weekly settlement, and the mid-week holiday, such disruptions could be digested. Though a continuation might trigger some caution in the short term," said Osho Krishan, Sr. Analyst Technical & Derivatives, Angel One Ltd.
From a technical standpoint, he is of the view that the Nifty index looks subtle, hovering above its 20 DEMA and nothing significant has changed on the levels front from the previous session.
Therefore, traders are advised to maintain a positive stance and view dips as potential buying opportunities, instilling a sense of optimism. In this scenario, immediate support is likely to shift higher towards the 22,500 mark, followed by 22,400, coinciding with 20 DEMA," Krishan said.
On the contrary, the lifetime high zone around 22,775 - 22,800 is expected to serve as immediate resistance before the index heads toward the 23,000 mark, he added.

As we advance, the sustenance of broader markets is likely to pivot on global developments; hence, keeping a close track of the global peers is prudent. Simultaneously, identifying thematic movers could play a significant role in outperforming the markets, and refraining from aggressive trades until uncertainty subsides is strictly advisable," he said.
On stocks to buy today, Osho Krishan recommended two stocks - Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and NHPC.
PFC has seen a robust move of over 6% on the back of strong volumes. Importantly, the counter has spurt from its 21 DEMA, signifying a strong risk-reward ratio at the current zone. The bullish gap of 416 is likely to cushion any blip, while the counter seems poised to reclaim its lifetime highs in the comparable period, Krishan said.
Also, the counter seems buoyant, and a sustained breakout would likely trigger fresh traction from a broader view.
He recommends to buy PFC around 435-430 keeping a stop loss of 416 for a potential target price of 470.

NHPC has seen strong traction in the last couple of trading sessions as it resurged from its 21 DEMA to witness an Inverted Head & Shoulder pattern breakout on the daily chart. Also, in the last session of the breakout, a notable increase in volumes was seen, adding to the bullish quotient. On the oscillator front, MACD and RSI both have showcased a positive crossover, suggesting strong momentum in the comparable period.
Hence, Krishan recommends to buy NHPC around RS 95-94 keeping a stop loss of 89 for a potential target of 102-105.

Candidates chess: All eyes on Indias young stalwarts – Hindustan Times
Posted: April 4, 2024 at 2:50 am
Business suits, hands crossed across the chest or tucked in pockets Indias Vidit Gujrathi, R Praggnanandhaa and D Gukesh have been striking the perfunctory pre-tournament poses against green screens in Toronto. All three are first-timers at the Candidates. Five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand is the only Indian who has played in the Candidates. They go up against a fairly strong field one that carries two of the worlds top three players. All three Indians have had varied journeys leading up to this tournament starting on Thursday.
Vidit, the oldest among the Indians at 29, has been around for a while but his arrival on the elite level is fresh. He seems to have had something of an awakening in the past year a great run at the World Cup (quarterfinal finish) and a stellar win in a strong field at the Grand Swiss. He finished at the bottom in the Prague Masters last month. Since it took place too close to the Candidates it could perhaps be seen differently. A mature positional player, Vidit has waited for his turn to get here. A hustling pack of teen Indian GMs was perhaps the push he needed.
I have been very impressed by how Vidit has performed recently, said Anand. One area of concern is that he occasionally chokes. On multiple occasions, near a winning position, suddenly a blunder happens. I still think hes mostly on the right path. Surya (Ganguly) is a very good second and it explains Vidits recent agility. Prague should have poured some water on his face. Now he just needs to show up and start playing.
For Gukesh and Praggnanandhaa, it can seem like the Candidates may have arrived a bit too soon. Theyre 17 and 18 respectively, which isnt to say they arent monstrously strong players. But the Candidates can be a whole different kettle of fish.
Alireza Firouzjas debut outing in the last edition can work as a cautionary tale. Then 18, the much-hyped French-Iranian GM was overambitious, erratic and put up uncharacteristically bad play. He traded a good nights sleep to play online bullet chess for seven hours the night before one of the later rounds. He eventually finished last.
Gukesh and Praggnanandhaa arent quite known for similar frenzied episodes during tournaments. Praggnanandhaa has an excellent second in former world No.4 Peter Svidler. The Russian GM brings tonnes of experience and the Indian teen has since last year shown that he can hold his own against some of the best names. His openings seem to have improved; his calculation skills are robust and itll be interesting to see how he fares in such a high-stakes tournament.
Gukesh is the second youngest player ever -- after Bobby Fischer -- to feature in a Candidates. He is known to play daring, high-risk chess and the nature of such a style doesnt lend itself to a whole lot of stability. But the payoffs can be great too. Its hard to overlook the kind of momentum and play he had at the Olympiad two years ago, the World Cup last year, or his joint-second finish at Wijk Aan Zee in January.
I think all Gukesh, Pragg and Vaishali should think of is settling in and playing a good tournament. All this will they win, wont they win talk around them is kind of funny from their point of view, said Anand. Good things can happen, but not if you overthink it.
Soon after she won the Womens Grand Swiss last November and qualified for the Women's Candidates, Indias Vaishali Rameshbabu did some search on the net. I looked up the rest of the field and realised that six (out of eight) players played the last Candidates and theres a former world champion too, she laughed. Its quite a tough field.
At 22, Vaishali is a first-timer in the Women's Candidates but shes also perhaps its most interesting name. Winners of the last two editions Lei Tingjie from China and Aleksandra Goryachkina from Russia are the favourites this time but if theres a player who is both dangerous and promising its probably Vaishali. Attacking, adventurous, creative theres rarely a dull moment in Vaishalis play and shes shown in past tournaments that she can beat former womens world champions and 2600 GMs. The training ecosystem of WACA and having a sibling, whos rated 300 Elo above her, for handy counsel have contributed to her rise and strength as a player.
The second Indian Koneru Humpy is the oldest in the women's field at 37. She hasnt played a whole lot of tournaments lately and it's hard to see her among the favourites.
Humpy is in a different stage of her career, said Anand. She plays less for obvious reasons. But she retains this memory of tough competitions and dramatic moments.
Recently she showed that she can lift her game when necessary. Its a healthy sign to do consistently well in the World Rapid. A lot will depend on her motivation. The Candidates is particularly long and classical so whatever she was doing before shell have to do it for a much longer stretch.

Eleven Madison Park’s Daniel Humm is bringing a one-night-only vegan menu to Crown Shy – Time Out
Posted: March 17, 2024 at 2:36 am
Chef James Kent is on a culinary marathon at Michelin-starred Crown Shy. One of NYCs 50 Best restaurants, the lovely, sprawling spot first opened in 2019the best premiere of that year. For the last few months, Kent, who rose to renown in his earlierrole as chef de cuisine at Eleven Madison Park, has been hosting guest chefs some nights at Crown Shy.
Dubbed Carbo-Load at Crown Shy, industry pros bring their own menus to Kents acclaimed kitchen, followed by a morning sprint with the Crown High Run Club, with the visiting chef, the Crown Shy team, and any of the previous evenings guests who are up for a trot. The titles cheeky: carbs may or may not be in abundance. And, although Kents a marathoner, the runs just meant to be fun.
Over the last 20 years, I've had the pleasure to travel the world, cooking in kitchens in Mexico City and Bangkok and Mumbai, Kent says via email. Im grateful to be able to host a handful of my friends for this series. And even more grateful that I've convinced them to run with us. Some required more convincing than others.
On Monday, March 25, Kent will reunite with EMPs own acclaimed chef-owner Daniel Humm. Kent and Humm, who made waves when he made that fine dining destination plant-based in 2021, will author Crown Shys very first fully vegan menu for the occasion.
Weve slowly but surely introduced more plant-based items to the menu at Crown Shy, but . . . as supportive as I am of Daniel's plant evangelism, I had not planned to forego meat entirely at Crown Shy, Kent says.
The chefs were last formally partnered when Kent moved from EMP to lead The Nomad, another Humm venture, until 2017, though Kent popped back up in EMPs alumni series last fall. The reunion has been just like that other popular cardiovascular activity.
I spent the formative years of my career working with Daniel in the kitchen at Eleven Madison Park, Kent says, So we have a shorthand. We've been sending menu ideas back and forth for a couple of weeks. Because of the time I spent at EMP, I also have the benefit of knowing the cooks who still work with Daniel and will be supporting him at the event. that makes the logistical bit significantly easier.
March 25 will also be the first time Humm has appeared at Crown Shy in a professional capacity.
I'm excited to have Daniel in my house for once, Kent says. I think that his team will get a kick out of someone being able to give Daniel shit.
Crown Shy is located at 70 Pine Street. Reservations for Carbo-Load with Daniel Hummare available here.

AEGIS token surges 92% on upcoming AI tool launches and market optimism – crypto.news
Posted: at 2:35 am
AEGIS token, associated with the Aegis AI smart contract auditing platform, experienced a significant surge, marking a 92% increase within the last 24 hours, reaching a peak at $0.2987.
This growth comes amid expectations of forthcoming advancements in the Aegis AI ecosystem, as noted by a crypto influencer known as Jolly Green Investor. The influencers enthusiasm was shared in a statement highlighting Aegis AIs imminent introduction of its AI-based security tools, designed to address vulnerabilities in the crypto domain. These tools include AI-powered smart contract audits, token legitimacy audits, protocol monitoring, and bug bounty programs, all part of the soon-to-launch Aegis AI dApp.
According to the crypto influencer, the surge in AEGIS token value is closely linked to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterins emphasis on the need for AI in smart contract auditing and bug detection.
Via an X post on Feb. 19, Buterin expressed his optimism about the use of AI for formal verification of code and identifying bugs, pinpointing this as one of the most significant technical risks currently faced by Ethereum. He advocated for AIs potential to revolutionize this aspect, marking a significant stride towards enhancing security and reliability.
As such, Jolly Green highlighted that Buterins encouragement for Ethereum projects to develop AI-based solutions, combined with the growing anticipation around the Ethereum ETF, positions AEGIS uniquely at the forefront of addressing these challenges.
Further insights were provided by a user responding to the influencer, referencing a recent AMA that unveiled additional features of the Aegis ecosystem. These features include a Bitsensor subnet, an operating system, a DePIN ecosystem, and SKL-based licensing, among others. This expansion introduces new revenue streams for AEGIS token holders, offering them an 80% revenue share.
As of press time, the AEGIS tokens price has adjusted to $0.2452, still marking an impressive 64.3% increase over the previous 24 hours.
The surge in AEGIS price comes as cryptocurrencies linked to AI, such as Fetch.ai, have demonstrated resilience and substantial growth, marking significant price increases amid a widespread market downturn. Further, a recent Coinbase report highlighted that AI-affiliated cryptocurrencies have surpassed the performance of major cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ether since the start of the last quarter of 2023.
Additionally, these tokens reportedly outperformed major AI-related stocks, including Nvidia and Microsoft, during the same period, underlining the growing role and potential of AI in the cryptocurrency sector.

Lanesville overcomes loss of top scorer to win second straight title | Indiana High School Athletic Association – IHSAA
Posted: March 1, 2024 at 2:39 am
INDIANAPOLIS A season defined by their fortitude became the defending state champion Lanesville Eagles greatest asset on Saturday morning.
Tested throughout the year by the absence and in-season reemergence of junior center Shelby Allen, who suffered a knee injury last spring, the top-ranked Eagles were dealt another heartbreaking blow late in the first quarter during the IHSAA Class 1A State Finals in Indianapolis.
However, instead of letting the setback crush their repeat hopes, the Eagles (29-1) banded together to overcome 11 lead changes and five ties to defeat fifth-ranked Marquette Catholic, 51-43, and become the first back-to-back Class 1A champion since 2019.
Up 11-10 against Marquette Catholic (24-5) inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Lanesville guard Hadley Crosier, a projected Indiana Junior All-Star, pivoted under the basket and immediately dropped to the court, screaming out in pain and holding her right knee.
Crosier, the teams leading scorer, had four points, two assists and two steals before being helped off the court with 1 minute, 27 seconds left in the first quarter.
The shock hit the Eagles sideline, but with Allens injury and other adversities already dealt with this season, Lanesville adjusted quickly, as Crosier cheered on her team from the bench while wiping tears from her eyes and crutches nearby.
The kind of team that we have, you just saw up there. They have faced adversity this entire year, Lanesville head coach Angie Hinton said.
Our message in the locker room at halftime was that you faced adversity all year long. This is just one more day. I had confidence in these kids.
The Eagles led 27-26 by halftime following a pair of first half ties. The Marquette Catholic Blazers (24-5) jumped out fast with a 9-3 run to start the game behind three consecutive 3-pointers by freshman Marissa Pleasant, who finished with 13 points on 4 of 9 shooting.
A Crosier layup cut into the early deficit, 9-5, before Allen took control in the paint en route to a game-high 20 points and seven rebounds.
Allen was sidelined this season until mid-December with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but the 6-foot-1 big returned to compete in 16 games prior to the State Finals.
With Crosier out the remainder of the title game, Allen hit her stride, while the Lanesville defense found a way to disrupt the Blazers, which won the rebounding battle 41-21 but lost the turnover tussle 24-9.
I thought we were in it. It was a one-possession game for most of the game there, and I thought our kids battled hard, Blazers head coach Katie Collignon said. Just down the stretch, we had some costly turnovers, didnt hit our shots and their free throws really helped them late. Those mistakes ended up in a situation where youre down five and you cant claw back with about a minute to go. Im proud of my girls effort. They were tough and resilient as they always are, but I think this one stung a little bit more than we imagined.
Sophomore Laniah Davis, who was averaging 20 points per game, struggled early on, but in the second quarter she scored 10 straight points to pull the margin within one possession entering halftime. She finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and three steals.
By the end of the third quarter, the Blazers led 33-31, holding the Eagles scoreless from the field (0-for-8). A pair of foul shots by junior Hylton Brumley kept the Eagles from getting shut out, but in the fourth, a clutch 3-pointer by senior Emma Davis broke the games final tie, 38-35.
We just knew we were all going to have to step up. Hadleys really good with her jump shot. Shes real good getting to the basket, but we found other ways to score. Shelby inside, shes a beast, Brumley said. We had to step up, state championship game. We werent going to lose it, and we were going to do everything we could.
Crosier averaged 15.8 ppg for the Eagles this season, and defensively, Lanesville limited their opponents to 33.5 points allowed.
Marquette Catholic pulled within one possession of reclaiming the lead four times late in the fourth quarter, but the Eagles combination of Davis (5 points), Allen and Brumley (15 points), who shot 5 of 6 from the free-throw line in the final minute, cushioned their advantage.
The Blazers shot 44 percent in the first quarter and 50 percent in the second, but those numbers dipped to 25 and 31.3 percent in the second half due to Lanesvilles zone and Marquette Catholics mounting turnovers.
Its almost like we beat ourselves. Those possessions down the stretch. We didnt finish, Collignon said. Those are the toughest losses to take. You think, if we hang on to that ball, dont turn it over there, make that extra pass. What if? Thats the hardest thing to do at the end of the season. Not to say we were actually beaten, but we beat ourselves.
The Blazers had three players in double figures, including junior Livia Balling with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Marquette Catholic was the last Class 1A team to repeat in 2018 and 2019. With Crosier out the last three quarters, the Blazers nearly prevented the Eagles repeat, but Lanesville found inspiration through experience.
In practice every day, we compete against each other, and we give them so many things to do so that when an offense breaks down, they know how to go make a play, Hinton said. We certainly did make some plays, and even though Hadley wasnt able to be on the floor, she has been that leader in practice every day. They had to go against her defense.
Having to take her off the floor was losing a very important piece to everything we do on both ends of the court, but I just felt like those kids knew what to do. We just had to make some adjustments to let it work for them.
The Eagles, in turn, worked together to secure their 13th straight state tournament victory, 57th win in 60 contests overall and third state championship in coach Hintons 18th season overall (sixth at Lanesville). Hinton led 4A New Albany to the state title in 1999.
I dont think a lot of people get to know when their last game is going to be, so to get to know that is unimaginable. But to be able to do it with us four (seniors) and the girls that weve been playing with for a long time means a lot to us four. Just to be able to finish with something this big and make history, said Lanesville senior Ava Kerr, who had two points and six steals.
The key was composure, going 11 of 15 from the free-throw line in the second half and logging 19 total steals as a team.
When Hadley went down that was a tough emotional situation for all of us. We had to be very careful as coaches how we handled that because I had to keep the confidence of my team because I really believed in my team, Hinton said. But then your heart is breaking for a kid on the bench. To have an injury like that was really, really tough. I had to really dig deep down to keep everything consistent, calm and cool. Weve taken a lot of hits this year, but no bigger hit than we took today. But the kids stepped up.
Crosier, who suffered a probable anterior cruciate ligament tear, hugged almost every Eagle after the final horn sounded.
I was on the bench, and I started feeling sorry for myself, and I was like, these girls are doing this, and I cant think about me because this is for everybody. This is our community, Crosier said. Yeah, I went down, and I probably wont be back for a while, but these girls, I just couldnt be any prouder.

Binance Coin Price Prediction as BNB Reaches Highest Level Since November 2022 Time to Buy? – Cryptonews

Binances native BNB coin has just hit $359, reaching its highest level since November 5, 2022, when the token traded at $353, according to data by CoinGecko.
BNBs rally comes amidst market-wide growth across the cryptocurrency sector. Market leader Bitcoin rose 12% in the last week while its closest contender, Ethereum, posted 14% gains. BNBs own 7-day growth spurt added 10%.
About 3.3% of its gains happened in the last 24 hours, making the exchange token the fastest climber among the top 5 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
The rally comes after the US Treasury stated in a Congressional hearing that crypto may not have facilitated as many illegal money transfers to terrorist organizations as previously reported in the media. Binances lax anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-client (KYC) policies had played a big role in facilitating the funding.
Yesterday a report inBloombergsaid that New York law firm Sullivan & Cromwell tops the list of firms lining up to be the exchanges independent monitor. Binances guilty plea deal with the Department of Justice and the US Treasury for AML and sanctions charges involves accepting appointed monitorships.
The BNB token could rise even higher, according to charts. Prices have consistently gone up over the last three months, helping the token trade above its 30-day moving average today. Its current Relative Strength Index (RSI) of 62 suggests the recent price movement is appropriately valued, indicating potential for further near-term gains.
While Binances BNB appears relatively safe, the spate of bad press surrounding the exchange and its former CEO Changpeng CZ Zhao could mean uncertain long-term prospects.
Binance is currently fielding multiple lawsuits and probes by the Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, the US Treasury, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
At this juncture, nobody can predict what sort of revelations theyll unearth. For now, though, the exchange appears solvent as it starts another chapter under CEO Richard Teng.
BNB investors may want to turn to less controversial altcoins to offset risk from BNB. One such project is the eco-friendly eTukTuk, which is having a major presale. It just raised over $1M in Stage 11 as green investors snap it up before the next presale stage.
Each new stage of eTukTuks presale adds 3% to the price, locking in pre-listing gains for early backers, the earliest of whom could enjoy up to 31% by launch.
The token is effectively a green bond to fund innovative electric vehicle charging equipment (EVSE) to meet the needs of congested cities and suburban areas in developing regions.
Its also tapping AI and blockchain tech to optimize commuter routes, reduce congestion, cut down consumption, and build intelligent and partially self-maintaining public transport infrastructure.
