Defense to ‘build’ on first performance
Georgia’s defense ran out of the gates Saturday with a chip on its shoulder. Unbridled with something to prove in unveiling the new 3-4 formation, the defensive players took the field with conviction and silenced critics, at least until the next kick off. “The players played well,” defensive coordinator Todd Grantham said.
